The SheHeroes ChatCast is a weekly conversation with accomplished SheHeroes in entertainment, publishing, film, sports and more! We love chatting with these amazing women about what inspires them to pave the way for our future generation. This week's guest, Felicia Day, is a merit scholar, classical violinist, and an actress who created her own TV show based on her life as a gamer. She sings, dances, owns her own successful media company Geek and Sundry, and wrote a book (available now) You’re Never Weird on the Internet (almost)! Oh, and...she graduated from the University of Texas with a double major in music performance and math on a full scholarship.
A few weeks back we shared a photo on the SheHeroes Facebook page with a bullet point list of some of the things Felicia Day has accomplished and it was the most liked, shared and commented post on our page--ever! It's not surprising that the overwhelming majority of the comments were positive. Girls and women chimed in from all over the country making it very apparent Felicia is a role model for a plethora of different reasons, which is why we were so excited to have her on the show!
