Veronika Scott

Veronika Scott is the founder and CEO of The Empowerment Plan,  a non profit organization she started with the purpose of making convertible sleeping bag coats for the homeless population of Detroit. In the process of researching the development of the coat she was told by one woman, "we don't need coats, we need jobs." She took that to heart and created a job source for homeless women to change their lives.

The Empowerment plan is one of many women visionaries who are a part of the One Stitch Closer project by the Gap. These short films feature women lifting up and serving their communities through empowering women. Their passions for change are making a difference, in business, science, tech, education and will potentially change the world. #WomenInspire
