Thank you for your support of SheHeroes! I hope you and your family are healthy. As the end of the year approaches, I am writing to both ask for your support of SheHeroes and to give you an update, as we’ve had a number of new developments since the pandemic began.

First of all, please note our new address. Our Executive Director has moved to Kentucky.

Exciting things are happening with SheHeroes! We received a generous $20,000 grant from Truist Bank to develop our very first STEM career path curriculum.  And it’s free! We worked with Reimagined Classroom to create materials that are truly unique in the space. We took a Meyers-Briggs-like approach to identifying how a young woman’s aptitudes and personality traits can lead her into a fulfilling STEM career. The pandemic also created some new opportunities for SheHeroes. During the shutdown we developed a bi-monthly zoom series called “Meet Your SheHero.” These hour-long conversations with diverse role models allow girls to ask questions and meet an accomplished career woman in an intimate and personal setting. We’ve recorded them and now have an entire library on our website. They’ve been a big hit and we will continue them indefinitely.

Now that we have a fresh new website, new content, and unique curriculum, we need your help more than ever. Much of 2022 will be spent getting out the word about the curriculum as widely as we can. Our fundraising is focused on that effort. Your contribution, no matter what amount, will help us enrich the lives of and inspire girls across the United States to Dream Big.
