Artificial intelligence and autonomous cars are in the future. Toyota is one the leaders in this exciting new field, so we are delighted to welcome Sarah Koehler, PhD, for our next Meet Your SheHero.

Dr. Koehler is a Senior Research Scientist at the Toyota Research Institute working on control algorithms which can automatically steer and accelerate a vehicle. For semi-autonomous driving, these algorithms help prevent a human driver from crashing. For fully autonomous driving, these algorithms allow the car to drive on its own. She has a PhD from UC Berkeley in Mechanical Engineering and has worked on robotics to energy efficient buildings at NASA JPL, Applied Materials, and Apple.
