You too can travel the world as a photojournalist!

Most of us spend our days with our cellphones within grasp and many of us take a lot of pictures.

But what is it like to travel the world taking photographs for a living? When photojournalist and author Jeannaee Sacken set out to find out, her life became a grand and exotic adventure that continues today.

Jeannee majored in Comparative Literature in college and went on to became a professor English and French. When the itch to travel caught her imagination, Jeannee taught herself photojournalism.

Jeannee has climbed Mount Kilimanjaro, trekked through jungles in search of elusive lemurs, spent a week living with the San of Botswana, and traveled to far Western Mongolia for the Golden Eagle Festival.

It is no wonder that after these adventures and may others Jeannee became an award winning novelist. Her novels include Women who Stand Between, Depth of Field, the Annie Hawkings Trilogy, and Double Exposure.
