The SheHeroes ChastCast is a weekly conversation with accomplished SheHeroes in entertainment, publishing, film, sports and more! We love chatting with these amazing women about what inspires them to pave the way for our future generation.
And boy does this week's guest deliver! We are so honored to chat with the amazing Brenda Chapman-- writer, animation story artist, director and so much more. In 1998 Brenda became the first woman to direct an animated feature from a major studio, DreamWorks Animation's The Prince of Egypt. She went on to not only co-direct the Disney·Pixar film Brave, becoming the first woman to win the Academy Award for Best Animated Feature, but she brought to life the character who became an icon for so many of us, Merida who taught us all to be Brave and follow our dreams.
